Residents of the Coal City Community Unit School District are encouraged to participate in upcoming town hall meetings. The sessions are set for Wednesday, January 15, and Wednesday, January 22. These meetings aim to provide information and allow public comments and questions concerning the status and future of Coal City Intermediate School.
The meetings will start at 7 p.m. at the Coal City Performing Arts Center, located at 655 W. Division St. Attendees should use the events entry on the building's west side.
Community members have the option to attend one or both sessions.
Superintendent Chris Spencer will be gathering information from individuals interested in potentially joining a building committee during these meetings.
