Born on March 27, 1956, in Woodstock, Illinois, Scott William Walker was the son of Perry and Doris Walker. Raised in McHenry, Illinois, Scott graduated from McHenry Community High School and later proudly served in the United States Army. His military service showcased his deep sense of honor and pride.
An avid outdoorsman, Scott found solace in fishing and exploring the stunning landscapes of the Smoky Mountains. A devoted sports fan, he shared unwavering loyalty to the Chicago Bears.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Diane, whom he married in 1986; siblings Perry, Jim, Joseph, and Bill Walker; sister-in-law Georgene Walker; brother-in-law Ron Hodgen; and his uncle and godfather, Melvin Freund. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one nephew, and his in-laws.
Cremation rites have been accorded, with a full military burial scheduled for June 11, 2025, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
