Sixth graders collaborate on math puzzles to boost their rational numbers skills

In Mrs. Moir's sixth grade math class, students are focused on calculating operations with rational numbers. The class collaborated to solve six puzzles aimed at saving a submarine from sabotage. "I was impressed with their communication using math terms and listening to each other to determine who was correct," Mrs. Moir said. Students are set to continue building their math skills to conclude the year successfully.
