Sixth graders engage in Greek mythology activities to wrap up school year

It has been a busy period in Mrs. Sweeney’s sixth-grade English/language arts classes as they conclude the 2024-2025 school year. This week, students are presenting their Quarter 4 book reports and engaging in various Greek mythology activities. These activities include an escape room, investigation sites and stations, along with an end-of-year project.

Recently, the class completed their argumentative essays and drama unit. "We read and reenacted a popular play entitled, ‘The Phantom Tollbooth,’” Mrs. Sweeney reported. She added, “The students had a blast with this reading selection, and with this unit in general.”
