Friday, March 21: Coal City High School standout Payton Hutchings’ college team loses to Northwestern Wildcats

On Friday, March 21, former Coal City High School standout Payton Hutchings’ current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northwestern Wildcats.

The game took place at Rocky and Berenice Miller Park. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.
