Coal City offers free sports physicals for select student-athletes
Cameron Stone, Principal | Coal City Middle School

The Coal City School District, in collaboration with Morris Hospital and Healthcare Centers, is offering free sports physicals for student-athletes entering seventh, eighth, and grades 10-12. These physicals are scheduled for Tuesday, June 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Coal City High School. Students can attend without an appointment during the specified hours.

Parents are not required to be present but must ensure their children bring the completed IHSA/IESA medical eligibility form. Participants should enter through the administrative entrance on the north side of the school.

For students entering grades six and nine, a full school physical is necessary for registration. Parents are advised to contact their healthcare provider to arrange this.

Any inquiries regarding the free sports physicals can be directed to Brad Boresi, the athletic director at Coal City High School.
