Coal City High School seeks military alumni for Hall of Heroes

Coal City High School is inviting graduates who have served or are currently serving in the United States military to join its Hall of Heroes. This tribute, located in the administrative wing of the high school, showcases military portraits of alumni who have served in the armed forces.

The Hall of Heroes has been enhanced by contributions from St. Juvin Post 1336 Veterans of Foreign Wars, including a custom American Flag painting and wooden wall plaques representing each branch of service.

Veterans and military personnel wishing to be included in the Hall are asked to submit a photo of themselves in uniform. Submissions can be made with an 8x10 photograph delivered in person at the high school office or emailed to Corey Mikula, assistant principal, at [email protected].

When submitting a photo for inclusion, it is requested that accompanying information include the name of the service member, branch of service, and year of graduation from Coal City High School.
