It has been a busy week for Mrs. Sweeney’s sixth grade English/language arts classes at Coal City Middle School. As the first quarter concludes, students are completing book report presentations and taking unit tests. The class is also finishing their current classroom novel.
Looking ahead to next week, the class will begin working on their first essay assignment of the year. This project will be a narrative continuation, where students write their own version of how the novel ends.
