The Coal City Trap Team has concluded its fall season, securing third place in the conference with 34.5 points ahead of Cerro Gordo High School.
Grace Sitar led the team by taking first place among female competitors, finishing with a 21.70 average. In the boys' division, Charlie Pfeifer placed 11th with a 21.40 average, Danny Fite finished 13th at 21.10, Chaz Anthony was 15th with a 20.20 average, and Ayden Hicks rounded out the top 25 with a 17.50 average.

Coal City Community Unit School District 1 includes several schools across Grundy and Will counties such as Coal City Early Childhood Center, Coal City Elementary School, Coal City High School, Coal City Intermediate School, and Coal City Middle School (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
