High school students use supply and demand to optimize pizza pricing

Last week, students in Mr. Hittle’s class at Coal City High School completed a simulation project involving the creation of a business model for pizza sales during the school's football games. The project focused on applying supply and demand concepts to determine the optimal price for selling pizza.

By the conclusion of the project, students had successfully predicted the pizza price that would maximize profit and estimated potential earnings from one night of sales.
