Coal City High School students Melody Kinder, Mason Natyshok, and Martin Ramirez have been selected to join the Illinois Music Education Association's All-State Choir. These students will perform at the All-State Chorus Concert scheduled for Saturday, February 1.
This year, 1,500 vocal and instrumental music students from various parts of Illinois have been chosen to take part in the ILMEA's 2025 All-State Student Programs. The program coincides with the Illinois Music Education Conference, which serves as a key professional development event for music educators across the state. The conference is expected to draw over 12,000 participants including students, educators, parents, and music industry vendors to the Peoria Civic Center.
In preparation for their participation in this three-day conference, Coal City High School organized a send-off celebration on Wednesday morning to honor Martin Ramirez, Mason Natyshok, and Melody Kinder.
