Fifth-grade students in Mrs. Hall and Ms. O’Donnell’s class have been exploring the Earth's four systems as part of their science curriculum. Through videos, simulations, and model-making activities, they have gained insights into how the hydrosphere, biosphere, atmosphere, and geosphere interact to form our planet. To deepen their understanding, students created clay models to illustrate these interactions.
In addition to their scientific studies, the students embarked on a new reading initiative for 2025 by selecting personal word goals. These word goals are intended to help them concentrate on areas of personal development such as friendships, focus, organization, and responsibility. The exercise builds on skills acquired in the Second Step program, which supports goal-setting and personal growth.
