Coal City Middle School teams excel in multiple sports events

The Coal City Middle School Coalers achieved significant victories on Saturday, February 1. The seventh and eighth-grade volleyball teams emerged victorious at the Brooks Tournament. Meanwhile, the eighth-grade boys basketball team secured wins in both of their regional games held at Minooka. Additionally, the wrestling Coalers demonstrated their prowess by achieving a 5-0 record at the Eureka duals. They defeated Parkside with a score of 88-18, Clinton with 67-17, East Peoria with 91-18, Eureka with 89-6, and Mt Zion with 80-19.
