Students in Mrs. Cowherd's fourth-grade class recently participated in a creative project for Mother's Day, thanks to the assistance of Terri Gomien. On Tuesday afternoon, May 6, each student had the opportunity to work with fused glass to design a unique pendant for their mothers. Terri Gomien facilitated this activity by providing all necessary supplies and her expertise.

After the students completed their designs, Gomien used her kiln to fuse the glass pieces together. She returned on Friday, May 9, to guide the students in transforming their pendants into necklaces. The initiative was well-received by both students and faculty.

Mrs. Cowherd expressed gratitude for Gomien's contribution: “We are so thankful for her kindness and generosity. They all were so unique,” she said.
