Riverside Healthcare has announced that Dr. Andrew Mariano has joined its team of cardiovascular specialists.
Dr. Mariano holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University's Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. He completed both his internal medicine residency, where he served as chief resident, and his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Mariano has contributed research studies that have been presented and published in peer-reviewed journals. He is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Adult Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Mariano will see patients at Riverside Medical Group - Cardiovascular Specialists located at 500 N. Wall Street, Suite C100, Kankakee.
