Riverside Healthcare has been named a Military Friendly Employer for 2026, marking the fourth consecutive year it has received this recognition. The designation highlights Riverside’s ongoing efforts to support members of the military community in the workplace.
“We’re proud to share that Riverside has earned the 2026 Military Friendly Employer designation,” said Riverside President and CEO Phil Kambic. “This recognition underscores our ongoing dedication to providing a supportive and inclusive workplace for those who have bravely served our country.”
Alongside this award, Riverside also received the Military Spouse Friendly Employer Award. Both honors reflect Riverside’s commitment to hiring, retaining, and advancing individuals affiliated with the military.
The organization has taken the Military Friendly pledge, promising to offer career opportunities for veterans and military personnel. Since 2023, Riverside has received several related distinctions, including being recognized as a Military Friendly Supplier Diversity Program, Military Friendly Brand, and ranking among the top ten as a Military Friendly Company.
Riverside supports its veteran and active-duty employees through initiatives such as hosting a Veterans Day luncheon and connecting staff with local community agencies. Janet Jensen, Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development & Learning at Riverside, commented: “Being recognized as a Military Friendly organization is a way for us to honor the service and sacrifice of veterans and their families. As the daughter of an Army veteran, I am personally grateful for the courage, dedication, integrity, and resilience our nation’s veterans and their families bring to our community and the workplace every day.”
