Coal City Middle School honors students for showing respect

Coal City Middle School emphasizes a new character trait each month, recognizing students from all grade levels who exemplify these traits. Teachers nominate students based on their behavior and attitude.

In the past month, the focus was on teaching and demonstrating respect. On October 9th, six students were acknowledged for showing respect towards peers, teachers, and staff.

The recognized students are:

- Sixth Grade: Max Marketti and Sienna Ruffatto

- Seventh Grade: Marcy Foote and Caleb Hall

- Eighth Grade: Aidan Morgan and Jasmin Serna

- Encore: Colin Cooper and Giavella Carver

These students received a certificate along with a McDonald’s gift card as part of their recognition.

The next character trait to be emphasized is friendship.
