Riverside Healthcare named best large business by Kankakee Daily Journal

Riverside Healthcare has been recognized as the best large-sized business in the 2024 Reader's Choice Awards, conducted by the Kankakee Daily Journal. The awards highlight businesses in the Kankakee Valley area with more than 76 employees.

Riverside Healthcare also achieved top positions in three additional categories, secured runner-up in one category, and received honorable mention in two categories. Riverside Senior Life Communities won first place for both Senior Living Facility and Assisted Living. Bobby DeLira from Riverside Health Fitness Center was acknowledged as runner-up in the Personal Trainer category. Honorable mentions were given to Riverside Healthcare as a Place to Work and Riverside Home Health Care for Home Health.

Phil Kambic, President and CEO of Riverside Healthcare, expressed gratitude for the recognition: “It’s an honor to be recognized by the community in a variety of categories that highlight the many amazing entities of Riverside,” he said. “We thank everyone who voted for us and look forward to continuing to serve the community with the highest standard of care.”

The Reader's Choice Awards is an annual event organized by Shaw Media's Daily Journal, allowing readers and community members several weeks to vote for their favorite local businesses, individuals, and organizations across various categories.
