Riverside Healthcare has announced that Jojo Sayson, PT, DMT, MOMT, FAAOMPT, has joined its Outpatient Rehabilitation and Therapy Team. Sayson will serve as both a practicing physical therapist and a clinical educator.
Sayson earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Allied Health, and Life Sciences from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. He later completed a Master’s of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and a Doctor of Manual Therapy at the Ola Grimsby Institute in San Diego, California.
He has over 15 years of experience serving the Kankakee-area community through his private practice, Jojo Sayson’s Physical Therapy and Rehab. In addition to his clinical work, Sayson has conducted research for NASA focused on space medicine and rehabilitation science.
Sayson is affiliated with several professional organizations such as the American Physical Therapy Association, Aerospace Medical Association, American Society for Gravitational and Space Research, and the American Astronautical Society. He is also recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.
