Riverside Healthcare expands Coal City Campus with new cancer care facilities

Riverside Healthcare has expanded its Coal City Campus, adding cancer care and physical therapy services. The expansion doubles the facility's size and includes exam rooms, a pharmacy, and chemotherapy bays. It aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services to Coal City, Diamond, Braidwood, and nearby communities.

Phil Kambic, Riverside Healthcare President and CEO, stated, “This expansion is part of Riverside Healthcare’s commitment to bringing the best care possible to the communities, patients, and families we serve.” He added that they are excited to offer more services in Coal City and surrounding areas.

The expanded services at the campus include oncology and infusion for chemotherapy and medication management; physical therapy for injury recovery and chronic pain management; heart care with rhythm monitoring and diagnostic testing; and a new primary care provider offering preventive care and wellness checks.

Specialty services now available include podiatry, cardiology, rheumatology, electrophysiology, and neurosurgery. The Coal City Campus is located at 5775 E. Highway 113. It operates from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekends.
