Delores "Dee" Provance, 95, of Diamond, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Morris Hospital. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Dee was a devoted member of the Coal City community, known for her kindness, creativity, and active participation in various organizations and causes. She had a successful career at UniRoyal, dedicating 25 years to the company, and was deeply involved in the Coal City United Methodist Church. Dee had a passion for crafting, gardening, and socializing with friends and neighbors. Family was at the center of her world, and she took great joy in supporting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at every milestone. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generosity, and love for her loved ones. Dee is survived by her two sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. A visitation and funeral service will be held at Coal City United Methodist Church, with burial to follow at Braceville-Gardner Cemetery alongside her late husband, Ivan. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Coal City United Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements are being managed by Reeves, Fruland & Baskerville Funeral Homes and Crematory.
