In Mrs. Gaffigan’s fifth-grade class, students have engaged in a hands-on geometry city project over the past few months. The initiative involved learning new geometry terms such as vertices, edges, and faces, along with reviewing polygons. As part of the project, students designed and built 3D models of city structures. Additionally, the class created mathematical quizzes to challenge their classmates to identify polygons and 3D solids within their city.
