Known for his dedication to family and work, John was also recognized for his wit, love of dad jokes, and holiday traditions. He cherished moments spent together during holidays and took joy in watching classic Christmas films. His role as "grandfather extraordinaire" brought him immense happiness, embracing the opportunity to help raise his grandchildren while providing unconditional support to his children.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Naiden, their six children, and fourteen grandchildren, along with his siblings and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law, brother, sister, and nephew. A private gathering will be arranged at a later date to honor John's life, with funeral services taking place at Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City.
