The Coal City High School girls varsity tennis team achieved a 5-0 victory over Streator, marking their third consecutive win. The match featured strong performances from players Becca Hall, Lanie Winke, Kamryn Hansen, Kyla Kohler, Cam Planeta, Kyla Stark, Bridget Feeney, and Liv Weatherbee.

Following this win, the team is scheduled to host Bishop McNamara on September 3 at 4:30 p.m.

Coal City High School is part of the Coal City Community Unit School District 1, which serves Grundy and Will counties. The district includes several schools: Coal City Early Childhood Center, Coal City Elementary School, Coal City Intermediate School, Coal City Middle School, and Coal City High School. A big shoutout to the high school girls varsity tennis team for another win. They absolutely dominated their match against Streator, winning with a clean 5-0 sweep.

This victory extends their winning streak to three in a row.  The girls started the match with a focus on serving and attacking the net, with top performances from Becca Hall, Lanie Winke, Kamryn Hansen, Kyla Kohler, Cam Planeta, Kyla Stark, Bridget Feeney, and Liv Weatherbee.
