Riverside Healthcare has announced the addition of Dr. Gaurav Kapoor to its Heart & Vascular Team. Dr. Kapoor brings experience in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, holding board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Kapoor received his medical degree from Seth G.S. Medical College at the University of Mumbai in India. He completed his residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and pursued a fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles.
Riverside Healthcare stated that this appointment is part of its efforts to expand access to advanced heart care services. The organization is enhancing cardiac diagnostic offerings at its Coal City Campus, aiming to provide more specialized testing and expertise for patients in Grundy County and nearby areas.
Dr. Kapoor is currently seeing patients at the Riverside Medical Group Coal City Campus located at 5775 E. Highway 113 in Coal City.
