Debra Duras, 70, Remembered for Work Ethic, Generosity, and Love of Family

Debra Duras, 70, of Coal City, formerly of Chicago and Lemont, passed away on August 29, 2025. Born in Chicago, she dedicated 37 years to Exelon as a project manager. A devoted Catholic, Debra supported St. Jude Children's Hospital and found joy in cooking, travel, music, and reading. Survived by husband Ron, son Skylar Miller, sister Sue Scott, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and furry companions. Preceded in death by parents and two siblings. Visitation on September 3, 2025, at Reeves Funeral Home, Coal City. Burial at Braceville-Gardner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Services by Reeves, Fruland & Baskerville Funeral Homes and Crematory.
