Diana Lynn Wilson, 77, Remembered for Cooking and Crafting

Diana Lynn Wilson, 77, of Diamond, Illinois, formerly of Gardner and Mazon, passed away on September 2, 2025. Born in Champaign, she retired from a local retail establishment. Diana enjoyed cooking, crafting, and sharing her creations with loved ones, earning her the title of the 'fun aunt' to her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her son in law Kevin Johnson, daughter by choice Karla Wilkey, sisters Mickey Edwards, Ellen Goff, Bette Farmer, special nieces, nephews, and cousin Della Hudson. Preceded in death by parents, daughter Tammie Johnson, and sister Theresa Tijan.

Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded, and she will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery on September 13, 2025. Memorials in her name may be made to the Mayo Clinic Cancer Research Center.
