The Coal City Boy’s Golf team recorded its best score of the season with a 174, but was defeated by Streator, which finished with a 155.
Jaxon Duke achieved a personal best score of 39, while Trevor Walker also set his own record with a score of 45.
“It is great to see players getting their best scores as the season gets into the last couple weeks of the season,” said Coach Harlan Kennell.
Other team members who played on Tuesday included Kory Lovell and Frankie Ponio, both scoring 45; Reed Sulzberger with a 46; and Cody Scheer, who scored 52.
The Coalers are scheduled to play again in a conference matchup against Reed-Custer this afternoon.
