First graders begin year with Daily 5 reading routine in Coal City

Mrs. Wilkinson’s first grade class has started the school year by learning new routines and making friends. One of the classroom activities introduced is Daily 5, where students have begun practicing Read to Self and Read to Someone.

Mrs. Wilkinson commented, “It's going to be a great year!”
