Students at Coal City Early Childhood Center participated in an ABC Bootcamp Fashion Show organized by Mrs. Wren and Miss Jackman's kindergarten class. Over the first 26 days of school, students were introduced to each letter of the alphabet, its sound, and related vocabulary.

"Our students have been working so hard to learn the letters and sounds of our alphabet," said Mrs. Wren.

To demonstrate their learning, students created paper bag vests representing different letters. Each vest was decorated with items starting with the assigned letter. The children walked a red carpet, sharing their letter and its sound with guests seated along the runway. After presenting all letters from A to Z, they concluded with a rendition of the ABC song.

The teachers emphasized that recognizing upper and lowercase letters and their sounds is crucial for developing reading and writing skills in kindergarten.

"We are so proud of the hard work our students have put in," stated the teachers.
