Riverside Healthcare has announced the addition of Matthew Guimond, DNP-FNP, to its neurology team. Guimond is a neurology nurse practitioner and is now accepting new patients in Kankakee.
Neurology providers focus on diagnosing and treating disorders related to the brain and nervous system, such as Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, and strokes.
Guimond earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. He also holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Rush University in Chicago. Furthermore, he is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
