Riverside Healthcare has announced the addition of Dr. Charonn D. Woods to its interventional pain medicine team. Dr. Woods specializes in minimally invasive procedures aimed at treating acute or chronic pain in areas such as the neck, back, shoulders, and other major joints.
Dr. Woods completed his medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He pursued further training with a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
In terms of certifications, Dr. Woods is board-certified in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine and also holds certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
He is currently accepting new patients at Riverside Medical Group Orthopedic Specialists located at 100 Riverside Drive in Bourbonnais. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (815) 802-7090.
