Coal City High School hosts 'Hoops & Headgear' with multiple sports events

Coal City High School is set to host the "Hoops & Headgear" event on Friday, January 31. The evening will feature activities from both the wrestling and boys basketball teams. The JV Wrestling matches are scheduled to begin at 4:45 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym, followed by F/S Boys Basketball at 6:15 p.m.

The Competition Gym will showcase a Coal City vs. Pontiac doubleheader featuring varsity wrestling and varsity boys basketball.

In addition to the sports events, there will be a clearance sale of Coalers apparel in the cafeteria. During halftime of the varsity boys basketball game, the cheerleading team will perform. Throughout the night, fans can participate in crowd engagement activities organized by the varsity girls basketball team for a chance to win cash prizes.
