Middle school wrestlers excel at state finals

Coal City Middle School's wrestling team achieved notable success at the Illinois Elementary School Association Class A State Finals, securing a second-place finish. The team was led by two state champions, Max Christensen and Dominic Zuccarello.

Ryder Gill earned the position of runner-up, while Phoenix Senodenos secured third place. Carter Wix also made it to the podium with a fourth-place finish in his weight class.
