Coal City wrestlers Brody Widlowski and Aidan Kenney achieved a significant milestone in their careers at the 2025 IHSA 1A Dual Team State Tournament on March 1, each securing their 100th career varsity win.
Widlowski recorded his 100th varsity victory with a semifinal-clinching pin against Marian Catholic. He was the 138-pound runner-up this year at the individual state tournament and had previously placed fourth in 2023 and second in 2024.
Kenney earned his 100th varsity win in the final match of the state championship dual against Vandalia. His 9-4 decision clinched Coal City''s second IHSA 1A Dual Team State Championship in three years. Kenney finished in fourth place this year at the 144-pound weight class and was a state qualifier in 2023.
Brody Widlowski and Aidan Kenney are now the 43rd and 44th members of the ''Coalers'' wrestling program to join the prestigious "100 Win Club. "
