Coal City Intermediate School students take part in bus safety training

Students at Coal City Intermediate School participated in a bus safety and evacuation session last week. The event was led by Mr. McCleary, who spoke with students about ways to improve safety and ensure a better experience for everyone on the bus.

During the session, students boarded a school bus to learn about emergency exits and took part in an exercise where they practiced jumping out of the back of the bus. The activity aimed to help students become more familiar with procedures that can keep them safe during their daily rides.

Mr. McCleary emphasized the importance of each student's role in making every ride safer for all passengers.
