Faculty, staff, and administrators from Coal City Middle School will be participating in McTeacher’s Night at the Coal City McDonald’s on Wednesday, September 17. The event is scheduled to run from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

During this fundraiser, school employees will work behind the counter and at the drive-thru to raise money for school programs. The school will receive 20 percent of all digital app sales during the event. Purchases must be made using the McDonald’s app for the proceeds to benefit the school. A QR code is available for those who want to sign up for the app.

Additionally, all pie sales made with cash will go directly to Coal City Middle School, as has been done in previous years. Teachers working at the event can also keep any tips they receive for their school.

"That’s right they will be handing out the Big Mac, Filet O Fish, Quarter Pounder and french fries, but be sure to save room for the pies."
